Swingin' on a Sunny Day

This is me getting ready to swing
Here I go!
Nana has a big tree in her backyard that holds my swing
I like this very much!

Ainsley and the Drain

Ainsley, where are you going?
Upstairs to take a bath.
Ainsley, with legs like toothpicks
And a neck like a giraffe...
Oh my goodness, bless my soul, there goes Ainsley down that hole!
Ainsley can't wait to have some biscuits and gravy! She's Grampie's girl for sure!

Ainsley hangs out in Nana's sink.

"More coffee please!"

I Did Sleep In My Own Bed!

This is me sleeping in my very own crib.
I have been taking naps up in my own bed...soon I will sleep there all night!!!

My Day with Daddy

Daddy is enjoying reading his new Harry Potter book that Aunt Toni gave him for his birthday.
While Daddy reads I'm playing in my hideout.
"Lets see if I can fit this whole ball in my mouth..."
"Not quite! Maybe the green one will work..."
Daddy pretends to be wise
Thanks so much for visiting my blog! I really like sharing my pictures and stories with you.

Ainsley Reads a Book

I got this great book from my cousin Emma for my 6 month birthday... You should get it too...It's called "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?"

This is my other book, "One Bear At Bedtime"
I'm learning lots!

This is a green frog!
"Time to turn the page..."

Daddy Has A Birthday!

This is me and Aunt JoAnn at Daddy's birthday party!
My cousin Jacob loves me most of all! I know cuz he told me so!
Aunt Lacey has the perfect hair for pulling! It is so nice of her to carry a toy for me around on her head! That way, I'll never lose it!
Monkey Tree...me and my cousins play in my backyard.
I think Daddy should have a birthday party every day!
Happy Birthday Daddy! You don't look 29!
Uncle Chris and Noah
My cousin Malachi fell down the stairs between my deck and my garage...this is a picture of his goose egg! Owe! I'm glad it was not me that fell!
Everyone helps clean up...
Aunt JoAnn and Noah are so silly! I did that once but then I threw up!

The Fire Pit

Well, we used to have this silly hill in our backyard with weeds all over it and broken concrete stacked on top. Daddy got it in his head to clear that spot out. So he thought, a good way to use the rocks without having to get rid of them was to build a fire pit. Of course, this meant he also had to trim the trees above it. Good thing the next door neighbor is so friendly...He loaned us some of his tools. I took a nice long nap so that Mommy was able to go out and help Daddy. After I woke up from my long nap, I came outside and sat in my stroller and watched them working. Daddy is very excited to roast marshmallows on his birthday tomorrow!
This is me watching Daddy clean up the weeds and branches he tore out.

This is our new fire pit. It used to be a big dirt pile full of weeds and concrete.
That light brownish red wood is actually an old stump that Grandpa and Grampie dug out about a year ago and left lying around. Daddy says it is so dry now that it will be just right for our fire tomorrow. It's supposed to thunderstorm tonight so Mommy and Daddy covered our pit up with a tarp so that it wouldn't get too muddy. Tomorrow should be really fun!
This is the spot where Grandpa's little boat Zacky used to be. Mommy and Daddy cleared out the muck and gunk and twigs and junk and moved the dirt from the dirt pile to here. Then after they got it all done they had to move some of the dirt back to shore up the brick wall around the fire pit. They worked very hard! Maybe you can all come roast some marshmallows with us. Mommy says they're very good but I'm too little to know that first hand.

I've Been Caught

Mommy snapped these pictures of me while I was playing. See how big I am! I can sit up to enjoy my toys...for a moment anyway.
This hideout is so cool! "Hey, open this gate and let me in!"
Jeepers, Creepers, Look at those beautiful peepers!
High Five!

Collage

Aunt Toni has been making some digital collages of my pictures. Here are a few for you to see...

Ainsley Sits Up!

On May 18th Ainsley sat up on her own without falling over for 2 minutes! We were all very excited for her! She's done it a few more times since then but has not been caught on camera yet. She can't sit herself up from lying flat on her back but if she's propped up can sit up from there without assistance. We are all waiting patiently for her to sit up without any help at all, but are extremely proud of her for being able to balance a little once she's sitting.

New Friend

This is my new friend. She is 6. As soon as she held me I fell fast asleep. I met her at Aunt Alice and Uncle Keith's house.
