Dedication Day

On January 7th we had Ainsley dedicated at Clarkston Free Methodist Church in Clarkston, MI. Tim grew up at CFMC and we have such good friends there. They've prayed for Ainsley for a very long time so it was special to share her dedication with them. Tim says that dedication day is even harder emotionally than our wedding day. He did a good job though! He wrote her a lovely letter that Pastor Dave read to the congregation during the ceremony because Tim was to broken up to do it himself. We have prayed for and longed for a baby for so many years...what a blessing to finally have her here in our arms! The dress she is wearing is from my own dedication 28 years ago. My sister Toni also wore it when she was dedicated 26 years ago. Perhaps one day Ainsley's baby girl will also get to wear it.

Too tired

"Uncle" Brian was too tired to play with Ainsley...poor little girl...

It was such a big day that she just couldn't stay awake anymore! Thankfully Daddy was there to be her pillow!

Visiting Brian & Shannon

Ainsley went on a trip to visit her "Uncle" Brian and "Aunt" Shannon this weekend...here's some of her fun pictures. In the first two, she's just chillin' in the sink. In the others she was just so darn cute that I had to take pictures! :)
