Daddy's First Daddy's Day

For Father's Day Mommy scheduled an appointment for Daddy and me at the JC Penney Portrait Studio. These are our wonderful pictures! :D We had such fun taking pictures together!

Mommy Plays Photographer

Mommy had to sew some ribbons onto this hat so she could tie it around my chin because I kept pulling it off. It's a nice cotton hat that is just right for a sun shiney day.
It seems like all I have to do is bat my eyes and Mommy is taking pictures again. Well, at least my childhood will be well chronicled!

Popcicles

I love to "suck" on popcicles. I don't ever get to taste them though. I just suck on them in the plastic wrappers. It's a nice cold toy on a hot day and when it melts Mommy and Daddy put it back in the freezer for more fun another time. I'm so glad Grampa forgot to take them with him last time he was here! Thanks Grampa!

1860's Base Ball

Bay City has an 1860's Base Ball team called the Bay City Independents. They play other 1860's teams around the state. In August they have the World Series of Historical Base Ball at Greenfield Village at The Henry Ford. This past Saturday Daddy took me and Mommy to see them at Carroll Park. They were playing the team from Port Huron. In a few weeks we're going to go again. Last time they played the Grand Rapids Kents. The rules for Historical Base Ball are a bit different than those of baseball as we know it today. It's almost like a completely different game. It was a good fun free thing that we got to do together!
