The Golden Gate Bridge. It looks similar (in its bridgeness) to The Mackinaw Bridge except that this one has great mountainous hills all around it. Really neat... It was a bit smoggy that day so the picture is hazy.
The sea lions have been hanging out at Pier 39 for years. They smell awful and make a funny barking sound. We watched them swim around and jump up on these little floating dock thingies.
A great place to find food and touristy stuff. We ate this amazing crepe filled with turkey, monterrey jack cheese, pesto, and avacado. YUM!
Every first-timer to San Fransisco MUST ride the trolly car. It costs $5 per person but is so very very cool! San Fransisco has a lot of different kinds of public transport. The trollies, streetcars (0r cablecars), busses, subway, and trains. We rode the streetcar too...it's a TON cheaper - only $1.50 per person.
Mmmm...chocolate...need I say more? We went into the shop here and they gave us free samples. If you ever come to SF you should go to the Ghiradelli shop and at least look around...maybe you'll get a free sample too!
Fisherman's Wharf is a really cool place. They have shops and great food and parks and lots of boats. I think we could have spent another entire day there. We had a pic-nic in the park and then wandered all around.
We just had to walk down onto the beach and stick our hands in the Pacific. Now Mommy can say she's touched both the Pacific and the Atlantic!
