Ainsley takes time to stop and smell the roses.

The Barrel Room at
Woodbridge by Robert
Mondavi in
Lodi. All the barrels are full and each pallet contains a different type of wine that is then stacked to the ceiling. It's really cold in the barrel room so that the wine will age appropriately.
Woodbridge barrel ages all their red wines to provide the consumer with the optimal bottle when purchased. Their Zinfandel vines are between 50-80 years old. Those aren't the oldest vines we tasted wine from...The Jewel Winery in
Lodi produces an Old Vine Zinfandel that is from vines more than 103 years old. I think the older vine
Zin is really tasty. It's complex, fruity, and smells great! If you're a wine person you should really try some.
